The process begins by collaborating to do the following:
- Understand what you are good at doing and what you are not good at doing
- Realize what interests you and what bores you
- Discover what motivates you and what discourages you
- List what you like to do and what you don't like to do
- Review your educational, work and life experiences
- Determine what resources you have available to invest and your best financing options
- Discuss your personal, financial and lifestyle goals
- Quantify the demographics of the market in which you wish to operate
The two tools we'll use in the "Learn" step of the process are your Confidential Questionnaire & the D.I.S.C. Personality Assessment.
Your Confidential Questionnaire and D.I.S.C. Personality Assessment will help uncover the several factors listed above, along with many other very important aspects of your personality, goals, values and relevant experience that will form a great foundation upon which to ultimately build a list of several franchise options that will make sense for you to review.
Uncover:
Using what I've learned about you, I'll search from hundreds of reputable franchise companies that range throughout every industry and uncover a manageable number of options for you to review. Your task then will be to review each of the options and put them into rank order of interest. Subsequently, we'll review your rankings and you'll select the franchises in which you are most interested to investigate.
Mentor:
I'll be at your side as you work with the representatives from the franchise companies you've selected to investigate -- my job is make sure you get all the information you need and that you understand everything.
Assist:
Once you begin to favor one or two options you're investigating, I'll assist you in finding franchise investment financing options best suited for your financial situation.
Ensure:
As you complete the "educational" phases of investigating the franchise options you selected and you're ready to have meaningful conversations with franchise owners, I'll make sure you are able to identify and talk to franchisees who are "more like you rather than less like you" so you can benefit from an "apples-to-apples" understanding about how each franchise fits you and your market.
Remain:
Once you invest in a franchise, I remain your consultant as you start your new business and I'm available to share advice and counsel as you begin growing your business.
